Order Accuracy
You are responsible for ordering the correct type and quantity of flooring materials. We recommend consulting a flooring professional or using our online calculators to determine the precise measurements needed. Sam’s Flooring is not liable for orders placed with incorrect specifications.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled without penalty within 3 business hours of placement (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5:30 PM; Sat, 8 AM–4 PM ET). After this window, cancellations may incur fees if materials have been cut, boxed goods ordered, or shipments dispatched.
Scheduling Installation
All shipping dates and delivery times are estimates. Do not schedule installation until you have received and inspected your flooring to confirm accuracy and quality.
Shipping
Sam’s Flooring partners with reputable freight companies to deliver orders across the U.S. Once materials leave our facility at 3051 Dug Gap Road SW, Dalton, GA 30720, Sam’s Flooring is not responsible for shipping delays or damages. You will receive shipping details—including costs, approximate delivery windows, and local terminal contacts—from your sales representative.
Delivery Responsibilities
Freight drivers do not unload deliveries. You are responsible for having adequate help available to unload heavy materials from the truck. Alternatively, you may arrange terminal pickup to save on home-delivery charges and unloading duties.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Upon delivery or terminal pickup, you must:

Count items to match the bill of lading.

Visually inspect packages for damage.

Note any damage or shortages on the proof of delivery before signing.

Photograph and report issues immediately to Sam’s Flooring.
Failure to note visible damage on the delivery receipt releases the carrier and Sam’s Flooring from liability for those damages.
If hidden damage is discovered after unpacking, you must notify both the freight company and Sam’s Flooring within 5 days of delivery to file a claim. Claims reported after this period cannot be honored.
Returns & Claims
All returns require prior authorization from our Claims Department. Return conditions:

In-stock, first-quality items: Unopened and in original condition, returned within 15 days for full refund.

Carpet & sheet vinyl rolls: Entire rolls with no cuts returned within 15 days; cuts < 30 ft non-returnable; cuts ≥ 30 ft subject to 30% restocking fee.

Special orders & custom designs: Non-returnable or subject to 30–70% restocking fees.

Pre-Installation Inspection
Inspect all materials for correct style, color, and visible defects before installation. Installing damaged or incorrect materials constitutes acceptance, and post-installation claims will not be honored.
Wood Flooring Variations
Wood is a natural product with inherent variations in color, grain, and texture. Such variations are not defects but part of the character of hardwood flooring.
Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Whitfield County, Georgia.
